Under the Sustainable Forests and Livelihoods (SUFAL) project, 2000 privately owned nursery owners were provided integrated training to enhance their technical skills. In this, they were able to learn and gain experience about modern nurseries and the techniques of lifting seedlings in different methods. As a result, from now on, they will be able to lift and supply various types of high-quality seedlings or forestry materials of the required species. At the same time, training on tissue culture and modern techniques of organ propagation was organized for them. In addition, 1000 sawmill operators have been trained on various issues related to sawmills to increase the efficiency of sawmill operation and reduce the wastage of wood during wood threshing.
