- 103,960 hectares of afforestation/reforestation has been completed under 32 types of interventions.
- Nursery raising and plantation completed with a combination of 50-60 local species, which has been appreciated during various inspections by IMED, District Commissioner, Ministry, concerned senior officials of Forest Department etc.
- Improvement of wildlife habitats and corridors, selection of rare and endangered species, expansion of medicinal plants etc. has been emphasized in case of plantation.
- Selection of exotic and invasive species is discouraged for plantation.
