The validation workshop on “IAS of Plant Survey, Investigation Work Plan, and Methodology” was held on 11 November 2020 at BFD. The Chief Guest of the workshop was Md. Amir Hosain Chowdhury, Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF), BFD, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; the Chair of the session was Dr. Sarder Nasir Uddin, Principal Scientific Officer (PSO), Bangladesh National Herbarium, and the workshop was moderated by Mr. Raquibul Amin, Country Representative, IUCN Bangladesh.

Several recommendations were received and incorporated including no. of field visits, quadrat sizes, potentials of including IUCN EICAT Categories and Criteria.
